The EBP Audit Senior Associate will lead and manage audit engagements for employee benefit plans. This role requires ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ERISA regulations while delivering high-quality service to clients. You will have the opportunity to work on various audit engagements, including defined contribution 401(k) plans, profit-sharing plans, VEBA plans, and ESOP plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee benefit plan audits from planning through to completion.
- Oversee multiple client engagements, including staffing, outsourced teams, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
- Review all workpapers, financial statements, and audit letters prior to submission for final approval.
- Collaborate with clients and audit teams to identify and resolve audit and plan-related issues promptly, offering recommendations for operational or internal control improvements.
- Assist in training and developing less experienced team members, providing consistent feedback.
- Deliver exceptional client support both virtually and onsite as needed.

- Willingness to work overtime on occasion.
Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience auditing employee benefit plans.
- Accounting degree.
- CPA certification is preferred.
