Redpath are proud to continue their global partnership with a universally recognized, international real estate fund. With assets under management close to $100bn, the business has interests in most asset categories which include; Health, Life Sciences, Hotels, Hospitality and Multifamily.
However, having launched their U.S platform ten years ago, they have a considerable amount of capital set aside to pursue a logistics and industrial real estate strategy and want to double their U.S AUM - this will range from core, core plus to Value-add and opportunistic investments which will include ground up development.
Role
Based in the New York office and reporting to country CEO and Head of Asset Management, the Senior Director, Investment and Development is responsible for sourcing, leading, executing, and managing investments and development projects. Asset type focus will predominantly center around industrial and residential projects.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Developing relationships, sourcing, fundraising, debt financing, entitling, designing, constructing, and leasing the projects
- Assist in procuring debt financing, all requiring and/or developing a broad and deep understanding of investment, financial, financing, partnership, operational, legal, tax, and other considerations and working with external consultants and in-house team.
- Work closely with senior professionals in spearheading growth across the platform.
- Explore and pursue joint venture opportunities, strategic alliances, and platform acquisitions from time to time.
- Lead, mentor and teach junior team members
Candidate
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Business Administration from a leading university preferred
- 10 years of experience in real estate including extensive experience in sourcing and development of industrial and multifamily projects
- Strong analytical, research, problem solving, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing tasks, and meet deadlines
