Sr. C# Developer - Hybrid

This 80 year old Financial Services company has over $65 Billion in assets for providing financial assistance for housing and economic development in the communities they serve.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Transformation you will assist senior management in digital transformation with data driven activities that affect enterprise processes, internal controls and business plans. This role requires a highly skilled developer who personifies agile principles and values leveraging the latest in Microsoft-based technologies to create comprehensive, modern solutions for internal customers and customers within the financial industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop intuitive software using Microsoft .Net framework, Angular, Microsoft SQL/Server, SSIS and Power BI.
• Deliver working software frequently using the Scrum framework promoting the aspects of transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
• Own the product lifecycle including roadmap, enhancements and support.
• Collaborate with business and technical team to understand the business need, refine requirements, and improve processes leveraging the Agile Scrum framework.
• Adapt solutions for improved customer experience, performance and resiliency
• Work with the DevTeam to design solutions achieving the business outcomes.
• Create automated testing, executing regressions and reacting effectively to issues that arise.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and stay current with secure coding practices.
• Document and present technical concepts in a business friendly and understandable format.
• Demonstrate products to stakeholders and company executives.
• Partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to improve coding standards and UX design standards.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and introduce new and beneficial tools and concepts.
• Perform peer code reviews and promote secure coding practices.
• Provide constructive feedback with the intent to improve the process and cohesiveness.

BACKGROUND

• Strong experience in Microsoft Visual Studio development user interface - C#, Angular, Webservices (REST, SOAP), IIS and other services.
• Solid experience in Microsoft SQL Server server side development including SQL, SSRS, Stored Procedures, Views, Tables and Triggers; as well as experience mapping data for migration and integrations.
• Azure Cloud experience (Preferred : Azure Fundamentals certification (AZ-900) or higher.
• Solid knowledge of SQL is essential.
• Angular7 or higher is required
• Good experience with Entity Frameworks
• PowerShell experience is preferred.
• Strong believer in and a thorough understanding of the Agile Manifesto, Scrum values and principles, and Scrum lifecycle events.
• Proficient with agile techniques such as vertical slicing, time-boxing, peer accountability, reflective sharing, and retrospective learning.
