Position Overview
As a Senior Copywriter, you will blend strategy and creativity to develop content that drives tangible business results for B2B clients across various industries. You’ll be responsible for transforming complex industry insights and value propositions into clear, engaging, and effective content that spans multiple channels.
The ideal candidate has 7 years of experience writing for B2B companies, including at least two years within a marketing agency environment. Experience across web, email, print, search, paid social, organic social, and other mediums is required.
Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in grammatical and AP Style rules and provide a portfolio showcasing past copywriting projects. This role requires strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to managing daily tasks and deadlines.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Writing for various channels such as webpages, emails, newsletters, blogs, case studies, ads, and social media
- Collaborating in creative brainstorm sessions with the production team
- Editing and proofreading content to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and AP Style
- Managing competing priorities and tight deadlines with efficiency
- Incorporating feedback from internal teams and clients to revise content
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven marketing agency experience in a copywriting or content production role
- 7 years of experience crafting clear, concise, and impactful copy
- Demonstrated success in content strategies that achieve lead generation and business goals
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, creative writing, communications, or a related field
- Experience writing across multiple formats (short-form and long-form) for web, email, print, search, paid and organic social media
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills with attention to grammar, tone, and AP Style
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative teams
- Expertise in transforming creative briefs into compelling content assets
- Mastery in adapting to different brand voices and styles
- Strong understanding of SEO and how to optimize content for search engines
