What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architect position at redShift Recruiting LLC?
As a Designer/ Project Architect, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects. You may work individually (depending on project size and scope) or in small teams. The project types consist of primarily commercial and retail architecture. Interested candidates should possess full knowledge of architecture practice, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with the various design software utilized within the office.
Responsibilities
- Site master planning
- Building space planning and interior design.
- Exterior Building Design
- Construction Documents
- Prepare and manage project schedules.
- Provide all project communication.
- Interface with Clients, consultants and jurisdictional agencies.
- Assign project team work to be performed.
- Prepare sketches and mark up plans as required for project team.
- Review and red mark project construction documents at various milestones.
- Coordinate with consultant team.
- Attend and conduct Client presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture required.
- 1 years of experience in construction and architecture.
- Proficient in Revit or similar design software.
- Knowledge of NY Building Codes and ADA.
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and be able to accept and adapt to change.
Salary : $50,000 - $90,000
