Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership, direction, supervision, oversight and support to the accounting department.
- Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of appropriate financial documentation; general ledger, purchase requests, invoices, check registers, rate sheets, Medicaid billings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank statements, payroll journals, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all related state, federal, corporate and agency regulations and policies, as well as adherence to GAAP.
- Timely preparation and distribution of all financial reports. Includes regulatory reporting, consolidated fiscal report, quarterly reports, and budget reports, preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements, preparation of and coordination of all activities surrounding semiannual audit schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and supervisory experience
- Knowledge of GAAP, OPWDD financial standards, CFR
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
