Manage a fleet of 100 trucks. Purchase new vehicles, schedule utilization and repairs, monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, budgeting, partnering with Shop Manager on maintenance Initiate, monitor and adjust company policy to maximize efficiency, profitability and reduce liability exposure. Establish relationships with current and potential customers, vehicle distributors, third party service providers, equipment and suppliers and industry organizations. Oversee a team of 6.
5 years of similar responsibilities in fleet administration required. Strong aptitude for all aspects of fleet operations including medium & heavy-duty trucks, ancillary equipment & parts purchasing, knowledge of insurance practices, risk management and collision repairs are preferred.
CDL and NYS inspector license preferred.
Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
