Our client has an exciting entry-level Data Entry Clerk opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a warm and welcoming team. This is a temporary position located in Albany, NY Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk will include : -Perform data entry for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in Excel.-Update and maintain historical financial data using Sage software.-Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry tasks.-Assist the finance team with organizing and reconciling financial records.-Collaborate with team members to support accounting processes and projects.-Follow established procedures for processing financial transactions.-Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.Qualifications of the Data Entry Clerk : -Basic Excel skills and strong attention to detail are essential.-Prior experience or coursework in finance / accounting is preferred but not required.-A positive, upbeat personality and the ability to work well in a team are a must! Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $17-$18 / hr.
