Order Selector/Forklift Operator

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Order Selector / Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team near Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and wrapping customer orders, operating a forklift to load / unload trucks, and selecting orders off the shelves. This role requires commitment to safety and efficiency and a proactive approach to keeping the warehouse organized and clean. Responsibilities of the Order Selector / Forklift Operator will include : -Accurately pick, pack, and wrap customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.-Operate forklifts and other equipment to load / unload trucks and select orders from shelving units.-Safely use manual and powered warehouse equipment.-Sort and organize products in their designated warehouse locations.-Assist in general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and organizing.-Participate in other warehouse tasks as required.Qualifications of the Order Selector / Forklift Operator : -High School Diploma or equivalent.-Previous forklift experience is required.-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.-Ability to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task.-Competence in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and familiarity with units of measure.-Capability to lift and move up to 165 pounds on a regular basis.-Effective communication skills with the ability to follow directions and work well with management and team members. Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $20 / hr. Salary : $20
