Are you an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in payroll processing? Our client, located near Norwich, NY, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to handle full-cycle, in-house weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees. This is a key role ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting related HR and audit functions. Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist will include : -Manage full-cycle weekly payroll processing, including taxes and garnishments.-Handle certified payroll processing and reporting.-Ensure timely weekly payments to tax agencies, 401(k) providers, trust funds, and third-party garnishment agencies.-Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.-Assist with payroll-related audits and support HR tasks as needed.Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist : -At least 3 years of in-house payroll processing experience is required.-Proven experience with certified payroll is a must.-Accounting experience is preferred.-Experience with Sage Construction software is a plus.-Strong attention to detail-Excellent organizational skills Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $60,000 - $70,000.
