We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee our client's Core Systems team and IT operations, ensuring the seamless performance, security, and integrity of our processing systems. This opportunity is located in Albany, NY. Responsibilities of the Systems Director will include : -Lead the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions to customers across all channels.-Oversee core processing systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity.-Direct daily operations, project management, and issue resolution for IT-related tasks.-Develop and implement policies for business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response.-Supervise the Manager of Core Systems, focusing on team development and skill maximization.-Collaborate across departments to identify integration opportunities, improve workflows, and drive system enhancements.-Manage new system implementations, upgrades, and conversions to meet organizational needs.-Foster strong communication with service providers, ensuring successful collaboration and support.-Evaluate and implement cutting-edge IT infrastructure solutions to meet strategic goals.-Ensure the availability, stability, and failover capabilities of critical systems.-Establish departmental goals and ensure team members receive necessary training to achieve them.-Serve as a primary liaison between the organization and third-party vendors.-Lead the review, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and updates.Qualifications of the Systems Director : -Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (preferred) or a minimum of 5 years of IT management experience.-In-depth understanding of technical management, information analysis, and financial transaction processes.-Proven ability to manage data processing systems in a financial services environment.-Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with a collaborative leadership style.-At least 4 years of experience in financial transaction processing and network communications. Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly up to $105,000.
