Technical Director

Our client is seeking a Technical Director to lead the redesign of their website, ensuring it reflects their advanced offerings and evolving needs. The goal is to create a modern, scalable platform with a customer-first experience that drives brand trust and conversions. The focus will be on streamlined UX, advanced technologies, and building a flexible, scalable design system.Key Responsibilities : Lead the strategic direction and execution of the website redesign.Oversee full-stack development, ensuring scalability and performance.Collaborate with UX / UI teams to create an intuitive, customer-first experience.Implement a scalable design system to support future growth.Drive website performance optimization for better user engagement and conversions.Lead and mentor the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies.Requirements : Proven Experience in Full-Stack Development : At least 5-7 years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.Leadership Experience : Minimum 2-3 years in a technical leadership role (, Technical Lead, Technical Director), including experience setting strategic direction for large projects, mentoring teams, and managing cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency in JavaScript, front-end frameworks (React, ), and back-end technologies (, Python, etc.), with a strong understanding of building scalable systems.UX / UI Collaboration : Experience working closely with UX / UI teams to ensure design and functionality are in sync, optimizing the user experience.Design System & Performance Optimization : Experience implementing design systems and optimizing websites for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.Remote and Agile Experience : Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. Comfortable working within agile teams and driving innovation while maintaining best practices.
