Concrete Division Superintendent Job Description
RedStone Construction Group is currently accepting applications for a Concrete Superintendent wanting to advance their construction career. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate responsibility for managing multiple projects and superintendents, including developing schedules for, and managing field personnel, coordinating job site activities, monitoring equipment usage, and maintaining safety training.
This is a working superintendent position. The duties for this position will be performed in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.
- Dividing concrete construction projects into different stages and evaluating how much labor and materials are required for each stage.
- Consulting blueprints, drawings, and plans to ensure that concrete structures are accurately placed and installed.
- Scheduling concrete crews to ensure the appropriate personnel and equipment are assigned to each project.
- Collaborating with project managers, owners, general contractors, and engineers to ensure projects are completed in accordance with the drawings and specifications, as well as on schedule and within budget.
- Ensuring that formwork and shoring are erected, supported, and dismantled based on engineering designs and drawings.
- Oversight of all concrete division personnel to include administrative duties, training, PTO requests, reviewing and approving field logs and annual reviews.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years supervisor experience.
- Good driving record.
- Clean background.
- Ability to work at least 50 hours per week.
- Working knowledge of estimation software.
- The ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Work environment is primarily in the field on construction sites.
- Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area.
- PPE must comply with site specific requirements.
- Occasional lifting may be required up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.
Job Type: Full-time, Salary
Compensation:
- $75,000- $85,000 DOE.
- Annual performance bonuses.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
