About Redstone Village
The Assisted Living Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services for residents in an assisted living facility. This leadership position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to upholding resident rights while managing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and experience in long-term care settings, including nursing homes or retirement homes.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Works within the Alabama Department of Public Health rules and regulations for assisted living facilities
- Provides oversight of all nursing staff providing them with training, coaching, development and mentorship
- Develops friendly and professional relationships with residents and their families
- Works continuously to promote and enhance quality health care for the residents
Educational Requirements, Experience & Competencies
- Licensed Practical Nurse (Preferred)
- 1 year of Alabama Assisted Living experience as Licensed Category I Administrator
- Eldermark Knowledge (would be a plus)
- Supervisor Experience
- Knowledge of community agencies and appreciation for social/life history status of residents
- Must have computer skills to include Word and Email usage
