Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Bus tables and assist with clearing dining areas to ensure a clean environment for guests.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Dispose of waste properly and assist in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
