About the Opportunity:
The housekeeper interacts in a very positive, courteous, and friendly manner with all Residents, guests, and employees of the community in a variety of ways.
What will you do:
- Sweeps, scrubs, and mops floors; strips, waxes, buffs, and seals floors using heavy floor care machines; and vacuums, spot cleans, and shampoos carpets.
- Cleans walls, windows, mirrors, pictures, mini-blinds, bookcases, computer screens, and water fountains; washes, dusts, and polishes furniture, woodwork, shelves, and metal work; cleans rest rooms and replenishes rest room supplies; and collects and empties waste receptacles, including those containing bio-hazardous materials
- Scrubs bath and shower tiles, sanitizes and deodorizes
- Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment and materials in a neat and orderly condition
- Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated pick up areas
- Rotates runners in hallways and entry ways
- Reports supply and equipment need to Environmental Services Director for replenishment
