Are you a passionate and driven Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of seniors? Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare in Greensburg, PA, invites you to join our dedicated team as an Infection Control Preventionist/Education Coordinator.
What You'll Do:
- Empower through Education: Design and deliver engaging training programs for our nursing staff, covering everything from CPR and EMR systems to cutting-edge infection prevention techniques. You'll be a mentor and resource, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Champion Infection Control: Develop and implement a comprehensive infection prevention program, leading regular meetings and collaborating with the QAPI Committee. Your data analysis skills will be crucial in identifying trends and implementing proactive measures to protect our residents.
- Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team, providing expert guidance on infection control and regulatory compliance. Your insights will be valued as you contribute to policy development and participate in key leadership meetings.
- Make a Tangible Impact: Collect and analyze data to track infection rates and identify areas for improvement. Your diligence in regulatory reporting will ensure we maintain the highest standards of care.
- Be a Vital Part of Our Team: Participate in Manager on Duty/On-Call rotations and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
What You'll Bring:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License: A current and valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Obtain and maintain certification for infection prevention for long term care
