RedStream Technology is recruiting an Infrastructure Engineering Director to be responsible for leading infrastructure platform engineering, spearheading complex projects, and making strategic decisions regarding resource alignment and prioritization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of Infrastructure as a Service solutions aligned with key objectives and results.
- Driving tech transformation through end-to-end infrastructure deployment.
- Managing a global team of senior managers and engineers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, modern, and reliable infrastructure.
- Establishing a roadmap for infrastructure services with self-service, AIOps, and built-in observability.
- Leveraging analytics and automation to improve efficiency, uptime, and service-level performance.
- Ensuring high standards of performance, security, and availability.
- Acting as an internal consultant, providing thought leadership and innovative solutions.
- Supporting Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) processes.
- Defining dashboards and scorecards for transparency and visibility.
- Managing budgets for hardware, software maintenance, and vendor contracts.
- Ensuring compliance and documentation for regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of experience in Infrastructure as a Service engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable and reliable infrastructure services.
- Expertise in enterprise operating systems (Linux, Windows), databases (Oracle, SQL, Postgres), and virtualization (VMware, OpenStack, Ku-Virt).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes (a plus).
- Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Deep knowledge of competitive environments and industry trends.
- Advanced expertise in multiple technologies and business strategies.
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., GxP, SOX, PII) (a plus).
- Ability to create executive-ready presentations with actionable insights.
- Leadership experience managing large global teams.
Salary : $75 - $80
