Redtree Landscape Design is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Lawn Maintenance Laborers. As a Maintenance Laborer, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance in various landscaping/maintenance activities, helping to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the landscaping industry and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape construction tasks, including planting, mulching, and installing hardscape elements.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns and shrubs.
- Help with the removal of weeds, leaves, and other debris to ensure a clean and tidy outdoor environment.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and adjusting sprinkler heads.
- Support the pruning and trimming of trees and shrubs to maintain their health and desired shape.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, following safety guidelines and proper handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and ensure high-quality work.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced landscapers to learn and develop landscaping skills and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to create a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing Redtree Landscape Design in a courteous and respectful manner.
Qualifications
- No prior experience is required; however, a passion for outdoor work and a willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the best of your ability.
- Basic knowledge of common landscaping tools and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, following instructions and collaborating with others.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and follow directions from supervisors.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- A valid driver's license may be preferred but is not always required.
