Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of the ranch, including caring for 80 plus horses, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the property is in top condition.

  • Duties:
  • Care for horses including feeding, watering, and cleaning
  • Operate and maintain ranch machinery and equipment
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various ranch tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization around the ranch and general maintenance including fence repair, maintaining roads and cleaning troughs and feeders.

Requirements

  • Experience with ranch machinery and equipment is preferred
  • Competency in using both hand tools and power tools
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various ranch duties
  • This is a 40-hour per week, Tuesday-Saturday position
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
  • Must have a valid CA drivers license
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • This is a labor intensive position and does not include riding horses
  • This position requires lifting and should be able to lift 50lbs
  • No on-site housing available
