Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Redwire Space in Greenville, IN. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing space-based electronics for multiple projects. You will work as part of a multi-discipline design team, integrating off-the-shelf circuit boards into larger systems, generating fabrication drawings and parts lists, and performing electrical testing and verification.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test space-based electronics for multiple projects
- Electronic circuit design using schematic capture and PCB layout software
- Ownership of circuit designs from cradle to grave
- Work as part of a multi-discipline design team (Software, Mechanical, Biomedical)
- Integration of off-the-shelf circuit boards into a larger system
- Generate fabrication drawings and parts lists
- Proving a design using simulation and mathematics
- Electrical testing and verification
- Troubleshooting system, board, and component level issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. MS Degree preferred.
- 0-2 years design experience working as a full-time employee.
- Knowledge of low-voltage analog and digital components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings/schematics.
- Circuit simulation experience using a Spice-based tool.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder (Visa sponsorship not accepted).
