Position Type: Full-time (30 hours per week) or Part-time (less than 30 hours per week)
RN Pay range: $40- $61 per hour, DOE
LVN Pay range: $32-$43 per hour, DOE
Location: Gualala and/or Point Arena
Summary: As a member of the health care team, the Nurse provides and performs comprehensive professional
nursing duties for patients who come to the clinic with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses. The best candidate
will provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative manner with all team members and will maintain
confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse License (California) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (California)
- Practical knowledge of professional nursing principles
- Previous ER experience a plus
- IV proficiency required
- Skills to provide comprehensive emergent/non-emergent/home health nursing care
- Practical knowledge of pharmaceuticals, therapeutic effects, side effects and complications
- Practical knowledge and skill in operating specialized emergency medical equipment
- Current CPR, BLS, PALS and ACLS is required
- Must demonstrate leadership skills and creativity in problem solving
- A valid California Driver’s License
- Prolonged periods standing, sitting, walking, and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
