Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $21.00-$27.30 per hour (DOE) / Additional Differentials Must Qualify

Pay Differentials Offered (must qualify through testing or verification):
- Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Multilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $2.00 per hour
Overview:
Compiles payroll data to maintain payroll records and compiles and maintains payroll records by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Updates payroll records by entering new employees, reviewing changes in exemptions, wages, insurance coverage, tax deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
- Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages or other reports as requested.
- Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests. Provides employee training, as needed.
- Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
- Sends notices to supervisors and employees of updated payroll due dates and policies.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Education/Experience:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must pass a clear background check with CACI, DOJ & FBI.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.
Training Provided:
- RCS provides an in-depth onboarding and training orientation, which includes CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, introductions to all RCS departments, and other valuable trainings.
