- Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour

Overview:
The Training Coordinator oversees the coordination and administration of the training department, including participating in aligning the department activities to each contract and county, ensuring trainings are scheduled and attendance is maximized, serving as a communication liaison between trainers and department leadership, strategically market/promote trainings, establishing key relationships with partners and stakeholders to secure community-wide participation, take a leadership role in hosting community-wide presentations sourcing innovative speakers and authors, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives and implementing improvements as needed. This role assists in the development, auditing and updating of training curricula that algin with organizational goals and industry standards and supports the implementation of new training technologies or methodologies. Overall, the Training Department Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of training programs and supporting the organization's learning and development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing Training Programs: Plans and schedules training sessions, workshops, and seminars based on organizational needs, employee requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinating Logistics: Handling logistics such as venue booking, arranging equipment setup, and ensuring materials preparation for training events occurs.
- Managing Training Resources: Ensuring availability of training materials, resources, and tools required for effective learning and development. Placing product orders timely.
- Communication: Serving as a point of contact for participants, trainers, and other stakeholders to communicate schedules, updates, and logistics related to training programs. Manage media requests and, on occasion, create media. Publish upcoming trainings weekly through Viva Engage, Constant Contact, Web calendar, Facebook, and other virtual platforms. Develop training announcement marketing strategies.
- Tracking Attendance and Feedback: Monitoring attendance, collecting feedback, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs to make improvements. Maximize training attendance by monitoring registration and developing strategies to increase enrollment.
- Maintaining Training Records: Keeping accurate records of training activities, including attendance, participant evaluations, and training expenses.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).
- Must pass a clear background check with CACI, DOJ & FBI.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.

- RCS provides an in-depth onboarding and training orientation, which includes CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, introductions to all RCS departments, and other valuable trainings.
