About the Role:
This is a part-time opportunity that requires assisting adults with daily living tasks such as dietary needs, hygiene, grooming, and dressing. You'll also redirect behaviors through engaging activities like walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.
- Create and implement daily routines for clients based on their Individual Program Plan.
- Assist with bathroom needs and change undergarments/clothing as required.
- Prepare meals and assist with clean-up.
- Pick up/drop off clients from/to their home/facility (if necessary).
Requirements:
We're looking for a candidate with a High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certification, and DSP 1 training. Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses is strongly preferred. A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current registration are also required.
You must be able to lift 50lbs and work indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions.
