Job Summary:
As a Direct Support Professional, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide person-centered support services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized support plans for clients
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, hygiene, and grooming needs
- Engage clients in recreational activities and social events to promote socialization and community integration
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and interventions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; CPR/First Aid and DSP 1 certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health conditions preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation necessary
