About the Job
We are seeking a Personal Care Specialist to join our team of caregivers who provide person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, personal care, and emotional support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Encourage participation in community, household, and personal care tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of all member information and inform member's Coordinator of any changes.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hold a valid Arizona Driver's License (this position requires driving)
- Have documentation of current registration and car insurance
- Clean 39-month motor vehicle report
- Ability to complete training programs and successfully pass associated tests
- Must pass a background check and fingerprint clearance
