Position Overview:
Redwood Forest Foundation is amid an exciting rebranding process and seeking a dynamic Communications/Marketing Manager ready to elevate our impact. Your work will increase Redwood Forest Foundation's visibility, community engagement, and donor reach. Job Duties:
- Develop and execute a strategic communications plan to enhance visibility and community engagement.
- Personally engage community members, volunteers and stakeholders at the main office and in the field.
- Manage content creation across the website, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
- Develop and post fresh content weekly using a variety of platforms - blog, website, social media.
- Design compelling marketing materials and donor engagement content.
- Launch and analyze digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Maintain brand consistency across all forms of online and print media.
- Track communication metrics to refine strategies and maximize impact.
- Create marketing assets using tools like Canva and the Adobe Suite.
- Effectively utilize engagement tools such as Google Ads and CRM software.
- Remain up-to-date with digital marketing, social media and non-profit communications trends to keep Redwood Forest Foundation at the forefront of engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or Marketing.
- 3 years in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, preferably in the nonprofit or environmental sector.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation abilities across digital and print platforms.
- Proficiency in social media management, email marketing, and design tools.
- Experience in event planning, donor engagement, and campaign execution.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders, volunteers, and partners.
- Technical experience with SEO, Webflow, CRM, analytics.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
