We are looking for an Accounts Receivable & Payable Specialist to join our team and help manage the financial operations of our growing company.
Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable:
- Create and send customer invoices
- Monitor customer accounts for payment status
- Follow up on outstanding payments professionally
- Apply customer payments and update records
- Assist with resolving billing questions or issues
Accounts Payable:
- Process vendor invoices and verify approvals
- Schedule and process payments (checks, ACH, credit cards)
- Maintain vendor records and handle W-9 collection
- Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies
General Accounting Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing
- Assist with monthly reports and bank reconciliations
- Support the Office Manager as needed
- Communicate with customers and vendors in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or service-based industries is a plus!
