Purpose of Your Work:
Under the direction of the Senior Accounting Manager, the Accounting Intern is responsible for providing senior leadership with accurate financial information by preparing, researching, and analyzing accounts.
How You Make a Difference Everyday:
- Prepare journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Record transactions in the general ledger
- Assist in the timely preparation of the monthly financial package
- Assist external auditors for the completion of the annual audit by gathering documents, validating account balances and explaining account activity
- Provide answers to accounting and financial questions through investigative and analytical methods
- Recommend changes to current accounting procedures for increased accuracy and efficiency, when appropriate
- Support the Accounting team with other related duties, as assigned
Youve Got This?
- Actively pursuing bachelors degree in accounting or related field strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential, proprietary and/or sensitive information and data

Work Schedule:
This position is a temporary hybrid position Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on discussion with your manager.
Compensation Range:
$20 per hour
The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
