Purpose Of Your Work
As Refrigerated Carrier Sales Representative working within the Multimodal Temperature Control Team, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and developing strong business relationships with service providers (carriers) to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
How You Make a Difference Everyday
This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.
Compensation Range
$45,000 - $55,000
This position is eligible to earn monthly commission incentives based on individual and company performance.
The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.

Purpose Of Your Work
As Refrigerated Carrier Sales Representative working within the Multimodal Temperature Control Team, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and developing strong business relationships with service providers (carriers) to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
How You Make a Difference Everyday
- Provide and negotiate freight rates to motor carriers (and internal sales team as needed), ensuring maximum profitability on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
- Coordinate available customer freight with available motor carrier equipment
- Consistently provide service and support to motor carriers in an effort to build the business relationship
- Maintain a file of all open truck shipments and of records of trailers in assigned areas
- Communicate with motor carriers to schedule trucks and resolve issues
- Verify all freight charges, confirm receipt of Bill of Lading, and resolve all payables discrepancies prior to final payment to motor carrier
- Monitor Bill of Lading discrepancies to ensure proper return of commodity is arranged, as necessary
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Must have worked in a Carrier Sales position in a brokerage environment for at least one year
- Must have one year experience booking temperature control/refrigerated freight
- Excellent communication, networking, negotiation and problem-solving skills

- Logistical planning, routing, or dispatch experience a plus
