Inventory Control Specialist
The Inventory Control Specialist will join the growing Inventory Control Team. This role will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy at three different locations with raw materials, intermediate and finish goods. The Inventory Control Specialist will assist inventory in day-to-day operations and data gathering & act as an example of safety and operational excellence.

Inventory Control Specialist
The Inventory Control Specialist will join the growing Inventory Control Team. This role will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy at three different locations with raw materials, intermediate and finish goods. The Inventory Control Specialist will assist inventory in day-to-day operations and data gathering & act as an example of safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading a culture of safety compliance, especially as it pertains to material handling equipment
- Manage data and transactions within a Warehouse Management System and create reports to support management decision making
- Establish and model quality control mechanisms
- Complete physical tasks as directed, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, etc.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Managing the internal flow of raw material documentation & certificate creation
- Developing and implementing cycle counts & root cause analysis to gather data to develop & improve training material
- Conducts inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs
- Compiles, verifies, and reports daily and/or periodic statistical information aimed at detecting trends to improve and maintain the overall health of inventory
- Research variances to determine appropriate root cause whether process or behavior and logs the information for operational review
- Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures as well as compliance to contractual obligations
- Maintains & communicates inventory accuracy (KPIS) or other metrics
- Other duties as required and assigned
- Inventory control experience preferred
- Cycle count & fiscal year end count experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Internal auditing experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Experience operating a forklift or other pit equipment experience
- Demonstrated safety track record
- Skilled level of Microsoft Excel
- Willing to travel during the week within facilities
- Willingness to contribute at all levels of the organization and team
- Must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal

- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to climb both ladders and stairs.
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods, exceeding 80% of the shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated heights.
- Work in diverse environments, both indoors and outdoors, year-round.
- Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing.
- May require the ability to work weekends, nights, or on-call shifts as part of the regular work schedule.
