SECURITY OFFICER - JOB DESCRIPTION
Description of Duties
- Maintain front desk post and general security of assigned building as described in Post Orders.
- Respond to reasonable business-related customer service requests, which may be non-security related.
- Respond to security related complaints and ensure proper documentation is completed as required.
- Maintain and submit Incident and Maintenance reports. Reports must be legible, and submitted electronically.
- Work under general supervision of Site Supervisor, Quality Control Manager and Client Manager.
- Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Maintain professional communication with visitors, building tenants, and co-workers.
- Remain alert and vigilant while on duty
Qualification Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old. High School graduate or equivalent.
- Possess and maintain a valid CA Guard Registration (guard card).
- Have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English (fluency in other languages in addition to English a plus).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation.
- Ability to read, write and understand and execute written orders, policies, procedures, instructions and handle requests and compile security reports.
- Ability to sit or stand in one location for extended period of times and or complete foot patrols as required by the site Post Orders.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.
