Job Skills / Requirements
Shift will be Wednesday through Friday from 5p to 5a
Description of Duties
- Provide a high-visibility patrol of the assigned property/ building.
- Monitor access control and maintain general security of the community as described in Post Orders.
- Maintain a high-level of professionalism and customer service to residents/ commercial tenants/ employees, their visitors, vendors, and client management at all times.
- Respond to security related complaints and ensure proper documentation is completed as required.
- Maintain and submit Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and Maintenance Reports electronically.
- Work under general supervision of Site Supervisor, Quality Control Manager or Client Manager.
- Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional demeanor.
- Communicate with all individuals in a professional manner.
- Respond to emergency calls including medical, fire and damage to property.
- Remain alert and vigilant while on duty
- Assist other officers in a team oriented
Qualification Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old. High School graduate or GED.
- Possess and maintain a valid PILB Work Card.
- Have the legal right to work in the United
- Fluent in English (fluency in other languages in addition to English a plus)
- Complete a comprehensive background investigation.
- Ability to read, write and understand and execute written orders, policies, procedures, instructions and handle requests and compile security reports.
- Ability to sit or stand in one location for extended period of times and or complete foot patrols as required by the Post Orders.
- Ability to respond to emergency or critical incidents and notify proper authorities as needed.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.
- Must be willing to accept shift work, weekends, holidays and overtime if needed.
All candidates who are given a Conditional Offer of Employment at Redwood Private Security will be required to complete a comprehensive background investigation into their criminal history, education, and prior employment prior to starting work.
