- Supervise security officers assigned to a shift.
- Patrol and maintain access control and general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders.
- Respond to reasonable business-related customer service requests.
- Respond to security related incidents and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Maintain and submit clear, concise, and accurate Activity Logs, Incident Reports, Accident Reports, and Maintenance Reports.
- Work under general supervision of Site Security Manager or General Manager.
- Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional demeanor.
- Maintain professional communication with subordinates, client employees and visitors to the property.
- Respond to emergency calls including medical, fire and security incidents.
- Use two-way hand held radio to communicate with supervisor or other security officers.
- Remain alert and vigilant while on duty
- Conduct coaching and counseling of personnel as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years old. High School graduate or GED required.
- Possess and maintain a valid California Guard Registration (guard card).
- Have at least 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or equivalent.
- Have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English (fluency in other languages in addition to English a plus)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and a multi-panel drug screen for illegal drugs.
- Ability to read, write, understand and execute written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Ability to walk and/or stand in one location for extended periods of time and or complete foot patrols as required.
- Ability to respond to emergency or incidents and work cooperatively with law enforcement and emergency services personnel.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.
