About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team at Laguna Woods. As a DSP, you will work closely with adults who have physical and developmental disabilities, providing support with daily living activities and promoting independence.
- Assist with complete care of dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing needs
- Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients as written in Individual Program Plan
- Support the needs and goals of each resident by participating in the development of IPP/ISP goals
- Take clients to visit family and friends, preferred leisure/recreation activities, and encourage socialization among peers
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, crisis management, behavior management, and ABA
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
