We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Designer with a strong background in cabinetry and a passion for sales to join our team immediately.
Position Overview :
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Residential Designer with expertise in cabinetry to help us design and execute top-notch remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have experience using Chief Architect software, a solid understanding of cabinet design and construction, and the ability to engage with clients throughout the design and sales process. This position offers a competitive salary plus commission and a generous benefits package.
Key Responsibilities :
Create detailed design concepts for kitchen, bathroom, and residential remodeling projects.Design custom cabinetry and storage solutions that meet both the aesthetic and functional needs of clients.Use Chief Architect software to produce accurate floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings for client presentations.Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget.Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure designs are implemented correctly.Manage the design process from concept through completion, providing ongoing support and design guidance.Utilize sales skills to close deals and drive business, ensuring clients are satisfied with both the design and cost estimates.Keep up with the latest design trends, cabinetry materials, and industry standards.Ensure compliance with building codes, local regulations, and company standards.Qualifications :
5 years of experience in residential design, with a focus on cabinetry and customization.Proficiency in Chief Architect software is required.Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, finishes, and layout.Experience in sales and the ability to convert client interests into signed projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to solve design challenges creatively while adhering to project timelines and budgets.A degree in Interior Design or a related field is a plus.Experience in residential remodeling and an understanding of the construction process is preferred.Why Join Us?
