Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic thinking Head of Sales with a strong background in managing and growing both traditional sales channels and external e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have expertise in consumer electronics. This executive will lead the sales and e-commerce teams, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, identifying new distribution channels and enhancing brand presence.
About the role :
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across B2B, B2C, and D2C channels.
Lead and optimize the sales team, ensuring alignment with business goals and revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and retailers in the telecom and consumer electronics space.
Identify new market opportunities, expand distribution channels, and penetrate emerging markets. Oversee and scale the company's e-commerce strategy, ensuring an optimized D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) experience.
Lead manager to optimize e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, third-party marketplaces, as well as the company’s own store.
Drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention through data-driven marketing initiatives. Leverage SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, influencer marketing, and CRM to maximize online growth. Work with the marketing team to develop and execute brand positioning and go-to-market strategies for existing and new products.
Utilize market insights and analytics to drive data-informed marketing decisions.
Lead and mentor sales, marketing, and e-commerce teams, fostering a culture of innovation and performance.
Collaborate with product development, supply chain, and finance teams to align sales and marketing strategies with business objectives.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to stay ahead of market shifts.
Qualifications & Experience Desired :
15 years of experience in sales and e-commerce, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. Strong background in consumer electronics including mobile electronics.
Proven success in scaling e-commerce operations and driving digital sales growth.
Expertise in online marketplaces, direct-to-consumer (DTC) models, and omnichannel retail strategies.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, CRM, and performance-driven marketing.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Experience working with global markets is a plus.
