Reed Sign Company is a family owned and operated business specializing in custom sign fabrication for over 50 years. We are seeking a full time Sign Installation Technician who embraces our tenets of being Professional. Courteous. Creative.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sign Installation Techs assist Lead Installers on projects to install a variety of signage professionally, accurately, and safely.
- Completing smaller solo installations.
- Ensuring all projects and service calls are completed to company quality standards.
- Identifying and correcting signage that doesn’t meet quality standards.
- Diagnose and solve problems during installation and service calls.
- Operating in a polite, courteous, and safe manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willing and able to drive and operate heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Work in all weather conditions, confined spaces, and at heights of 60’ .
- Basic mechanical, electrical, welding, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sign installation experience.
- Experience using electrical and aerial lifts, heavy equipment, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, site maps, safety guidelines, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions to install signs safely and correctly.
