Job Title:Facilities Maintenance
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM
Description
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our team in a dual role as a Facilities Maintenance Worker. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining both the cleanliness and organization of our outdoor and indoor spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will work outdoors to maintain the yard and landscaping, while also performing essential cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to keep the interior of our facility in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Yard Work:
- Mow and edge lawns using gas-powered mowers and trimmers.
- Trim and prune trees, shrubs, and other plants.
- Load and unload materials and supplies for yard maintenance.
- Remove debris, leaves, and trash from the yard and surrounding areas.
- Maintain tools and equipment by cleaning and performing basic repairs.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- May perform sanding, painting, cutting, and welding duties
- May rebuild pumps
- May assist other teams with the company with other projects
- Janitorial Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, windows, and surfaces throughout the facility.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum carpets and floor surfaces to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to keep areas looking presentable and tidy.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to guarantee effective and thorough cleaning.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Assist with minor repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping, yard maintenance, or janitorial work preferred.
- Experience working with hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and reliability.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
