Are you a automotive, farm, or motorcycle technician? How would you like to go to work and be on a boat? Would you like to work on the water? If not on the water how about in a climate controlled shop. And YES it has A/C! If you are more of an outdoors person, we have outdoor bays too. Join the ever growing industry of being a Marine Technician. You will work alongside a factory trained technician and learn the ins and outs of inboard/outboard engines, electronics, accessories and trailers. If you can work on a vehicle, farm equipment or motorcycle engines. Boats are very similar. How about a fun filled career where you get to work on something that provides people with happiness and relaxation. We do have a lot of boats moving throughout the shop so we need hard working, punctual and dependable people.
- Knowledge of how to maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace equipment and machinery
- Firm technical knowledge of electrical diagrams
- Excellent communication skills that allow them to explain technical problems
- Strong knowledge about their industry and the general requirements of different equipment types
- Precise written communication abilities for filing repair, installation and maintenance reports
- Physical stamina in the handling of complex tools and heavy equipment and moving through confined spaces
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while using their own technical judgment regarding complex tasks
