REEDS is looking for a tech-savvy direct marketer with an interest in communicating with customers through social media channels for the role of Social Media Associate. This professional is responsible for executing, measuring, and optimizing REEDS' social media campaigns across several platforms. The successful candidate brings an in-depth understanding of social media, both as a user and a business manager, having used many of the platforms to post through social management tools and business interfaces. This individual reports to Digital Marketing leadership and may be based in Wilmington, NC or fully remote.

Responsibilities
- Understanding KPI's and defining them specifically for social media
- Collaborating with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative campaigns
- Posting and monitoring all social media content using social media marketing tools
- Tracking the performance of campaigns
- Staying up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Tracking customer engagement to optimize campaign content, grow followers and encourage engagement
- Establishing relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media
- Supporting the development of an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Suggesting new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions

Requirements
Required Skills
- Experience as a Social media coordinator or social media internship including business account management
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Excellent communication skills
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- BS degree in Communications, Digital media, or relevant field
- East coast preferred if working remotely
- Facebook Blueprint Certification
- Experience with third-party social media management tools (Dash Hudson preferred.)
