RAMC is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team!
Schedule: Per Diem as needed & Every 3rd Weekend
Hours: Weekends 7AM-5PM
Weekdays 7AM-7PM
Position Details:
The Nurse Practitioner functions within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to independently manage and direct patient care, which will be comprehensive, safe, and efficient. This individual offers available resources and educational opportunities to patients, support personnel, and community members. They are responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion, and core coordination for patients. The NP demonstrates an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism, and evidence-based practice. They work with administration, nursing, physicians, and other staff to assure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
Education and Training Required:
◾Graduate from an accredited NP school.
◾Current licensure as an RN and APNP in Wisconsin.
◾Board-certified adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Practitioner.
◾BLS certified.
◾Meets health requirements.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
◾Ability to work in a clinic environment with appropriate technological support.
◾Must be able to deal with multiple priorities calmly.
◾Requires decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
◾Recognizes legal responsibilities and functions as specified by Wisconsin State law.
