Hours: 7:30 A.M. - 7:30 P.M. Weekdays, 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Weekends

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients in the Retail Pharmacy setting. Clinical pharmacists are responsible for the safe, effective, and cost-effective use of drugs on behalf of the patient through the administration of pharmaceutical care, the application of specialized knowledge, skills, and professional judgment. This is a collaborative process involving communication, documentation of outcomes, and coordination between the patient and other healthcare providers.
The incumbent shall support the Managing Pharmacist with compliance and oversight of the 340B drug program at the Pharmacy. They shall act independently within the scope of their license and expertise with the help of general policies, procedures and practice guidelines with support from the Managing Pharmacist.
Other services shall include, but are not limited to, medication therapy management (MTM) services, offering immunizations to community members, and providing durable medical equipment (DME).
Work Schedule: per diem. Shifts scheduled between 7:30 A.M. - 7:30 P.M. Weekdays, 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Weekends. Hours may vary based on operational need.

Qualifications:
Education
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree.
Preferred: Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency training program.
Work Experience
Minimum: One year of clinical patient care
Preferred: Three years of retail, institutional, Community Hospital or an ASHP accredited residency training program.
Licenses & Certifications
Minimum: Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin.
Preferred: Certification by the Board of Pharmacy
