Worksite Wellness is looking for a Per Diem ( As Needed) Nurse to join our team!
Position Summary:
The Employee Health Professional (RN) coordinates, implements and maintains the employee health program designed to reduce the risk of transmission of infections and maintains the general physical health of employees. He/she participates in activities to improve quality of care and health maintenance of employees. Assists in patient care and business health duties of the Worksite Wellness Center as needed and able.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Business Health Services, the Business/Employee Health Lead supervises the department staff and collaborates with the Clinic Lead, all members of the health care team, physicians, support staff, and employers. The Business/Employee Health Lead ensures quality and accuracy of all testing equipment. Other responsibilities include staff development, scheduling, training and education of new staff. Clinic Lead must be highly motivated, team player, and help develop and maintain a positive work environment. Assists the director with coordination of functions, staffing in the clinic, and other duties as assigned.
Primary Customer Served:
- Employees (18-70 years)
- Employees of area employers
- Volunteers – Adolescent (16-18 years)
- Volunteers – Adult (19-70 years)
Education and Training Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing;
- RN (BSN preferred);
- Current license in the State of Wisconsin
- Certified Breath Alcohol Technician for DOT
- Certified for DOT Urine Drug Collections
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in a health care setting;

- Demonstrates knowledge of employee health issues as related to infection prevention & control;
- Ability to function in a clinic type environment;
- Project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work activities;
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written;
- Basic computer skills;
- Ability to act with calmness, compassion, respect and good judgment;
- Ability to interact with others in an objective and positive manner;
- Ability to function competently and effectively during periods of multiple priorities and stressors.
