Reedsburg Area Medical Center's Senior Life Center is excited to offer a Youth Apprenticeship (YA) opportunity for High School students currently enrolled in their 1st or 2nd year of a YA program and holding an active Wisconsin CNA certification.
As a CNA Youth Apprentice, you’ll gain valuable, real-world experience in a supportive environment while delivering compassionate care to our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in nursing, or healthcare to build confidence and skills while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of nursing staff
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support residents with meals and nutritional needs
- Document care activities and communicate observations to the care team
- Foster a respectful, safe, and supportive environment for residents
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a 1st or 2nd year Youth Apprenticeship (YA) program
- Must hold a valid Wisconsin CNA license
- A genuine interest in working with older adults
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn
