Job Title : Human Resources and Staffing Coordinator Wage Range : Between $26-$35 based off experience. Location : Reedwood Post Acute, Portland, OR Position Summary : The Human Resources and Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing all human resource functions and staffing needs at Reedwood Post Acute.
This role involves recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining skilled staff to ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified nursing and support staff.
- Manage the entire onboarding process, including orientation and initial training for new hires.
- Coordinate staffing schedules and shifts to maintain adequate coverage and compliance with state regulations.
- Address employee relations issues and mediate conflict resolutions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and facility policies.
- Maintain employee records, oversee benefits administration, and provide support to the Payroll department. Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferably at least 3-5 years of experience in human resources and / or staffing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, staffing regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions :
- Full-time position with occasional weekend or evening work as needed.
