This an exciting opportunity for a growing restaurant group, who has partnered with Reef, led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City, Utah, an internationally renowned ski destination. Our two new culinary concepts in Old Town Park City consist of a 100 seat brasserie and bar, Le Depot Brasserie, and a French pastry & coffee shop, Union Patisserie.
Position Overview:
The Host at Le Depot Brasserie will be responsible for greeting and seating guests and answering phone calls concerning reservations. You will handle guest requests with tact and diplomacy. Your warm and friendly personality will make guests feel welcome and want to return.
Opening & Ongoing Duties:
- Greet guests with a smile and welcome them to the restaurant while seating them accordingly
- Take reservations over the phone and in person while working at the host stand
- Handle any guest requests or complaints with graciousness and cheer
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work the lunch shift
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Present a positive, professional image.
- Must speak and read English at a strong level with the ability to legally work in the United States
- Previous experience with Open Table, Toast or Resy preferred
Work Experience: 1-2 years experience as a host in a fine dining restaurant preferred; or 2 years customer service experience in a hotel or resort environment.
Education: High School Diploma; College degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Perform various physical movements throughout the work area
- Stand and walk for extended periods both at the host stand and throughout the restaurant
- Endure changes of temperature between indoor and outdoor environments
