Assistant Food Services Role

Job Description

The assistant food services role is responsible for supporting our school district's food services team, providing assistance with meal preparation, service and cleanup. As an assistant food services worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with students, staff and parents from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with meal preparation and service
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
* Clean up after meal periods
* Perform other duties as assigned by the cafeteria supervisor.

Requirements/Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
* Availability to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons and special events.
