What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Principal (2024-2025 School Year) position at Reef-Sunset Unified School District?
The Principal is the administrator responsible for providing a quality educational program for the students in the school. This responsibility includes planning, organizing, coordination, administering and evaluating those programs and activities that relate directly to the educational efforts within the school and its community. In discharging those duties; the Principal shall implement and support district policies and regulations.
The Principal is primarily responsible to the District Superintendent or assigned designated Administrator (generally referred hereto as District Superintendent). The Principal participates in the meetings and deliberations of the district administrative staff, works cooperatively and effectively with and seeks involvement and counsel from the staff and community in exercising his/her judgement and authority.
Appropriate California Administrative Services Credential
Masters Degree, desirable
Administrative experience, desirable
Minimum of five successful years of teaching experience
Valid CPR/First Aide Certification
Valid California Driver’s License
2-3 Current Letters of Reference
